Asami Murata
Program Director

Following graduation from Seian University of Art and Design in photography, Asami went on to plan and manage operations for photo and editorial events tied to photography-related print publications.

Shifting careers in 2010 with a move to Roppongi Nouen, Asami assumed the position of managing workshop and event planning for the restaurant, while launching the International Terakoya and assisting with daily floor operations on the side.

Since taking up her current role at Umari, Asami has been instrumental in the development of a wide breadth of major projects, such as the Tohoku Agricultural Training Center Project, the WE Tozai Subway Line Project in Sendai City, and an array of related operations spanning local food, agriculture, and regional development.
